The Dragon series reaming shells are both available as traditional with surface-set large diamonds, as well as impregnated versions with a large number of smaller diamonds. The surface set versions are durable and well proven in broken and heavily abrasive soft and medium soft rocks. In the impregnated reaming shells, the entire segment consists of a large number of small diamonds. Impregnated reaming shells are usually very suitable for hard and solid rock conditions. These are usually preferred in exploration in underground mines.
